Register NowRegister NowCBT is the most commonly-used evidence-based methods for understanding, helping with and treating anxiety issues in the UK. The approach is based on really understanding how anxiety actually works, what might cause it and offering practical approaches to dealing with it. This session led by guest expert Cognitive Behavioural Therapist Ted Bradshaw will leave you with a better understanding of how anxiety works, how it shows up in children, and importantly, what we can do to help at school.
This session will provide practical cognitive behavioural-based strategies that teachers or school staff can use to understand and help anxious children.
CBT Therapist and Assistant Professor
Ted has been working in mental health since 2010. Most of that time has been spent working in NHS services and more recently, as a private therapist. He has also spent time teaching and supervising other therapists and I currently hold an honorary position as an Assistant Professor of Psychological Therapies at the University of Nottingham.
