Content Writer
Karen’s combination of experience as a classroom teacher, a pastoral lead, and a department head (Karen headed up a science department in Dubai) along with her writing talents, give her the perfect skill set for working with Worth-it.
FULL INTRODUCTION
Karen grew up in a village outside Scarborough, on the beautiful North Yorkshire coast – she moved away for 20 years but bounced back to bring up her young children.
Karen was a research scientist before training to be a secondary science teacher. She soon became a pastoral head, supporting a large year group in an inner-city school. After teaching in Dubai for a couple of years Karen moved back to the UK. Her passion for writing led her to a career as a content and copywriter.
